Some data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. A revocation of your already given consent is possible at any time. An informal communication by e-mail is sufficient for the revocation. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

Right to Complain to the Competent Supervisory Authority

The data will be provided in a machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another responsible party, this will only be done as far as it is technically feasible.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies. These are small text files that your web browser stores on your terminal device. Cookies help us to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and secure. Some cookies are „session cookies.“ Such cookies are deleted by themselves after the end of your browser session. In contrast, other cookies remain on your terminal device until you delete them yourself. Such cookies help us to recognize you when you return to our website.

With a modern web browser, you can monitor, restrict or prevent the setting of cookies. Many web browsers can be configured to automatically delete cookies when you close the program. Disabling cookies may result in limited functionality of our website.

The setting of cookies, which are necessary for the exercise of electronic communication processes or the provision of certain functions desired by you (e.g. shopping cart), is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO. As the operator of this website, we have a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and smooth provision of our services. As far as the setting of other cookies (e.g. for analysis functions) takes place, these are treated separately in this data protection declaration.

Security measures with Shield Security

To ensure the security of our website and ward off attacks, we use the WordPress plugin Shield Security. This plugin stores and processes security-relevant data, in particular IP addresses and login attempts, exclusively locally on our server.

The stored data is used to protect our website and your personal data. This data is not passed on to third parties.

In addition, we use the hosting service of IONOS, which has concluded a data processing agreement with us as a processor in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Further information on data protection at IONOS can be found at: https://www.ionos.de/terms-gtc/privacy

UpdraftPlus

We use the UpdraftPlus plugin to make regular backups of our website data. These backups include database content, media and other relevant files required for the operation of our website.

The backups created are stored on Google Drive, a cloud storage service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). The data is stored securely outside our server environment to ensure additional protection against data loss.

The data is stored and processed in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in ensuring the availability, integrity and security of our website.

Data transmission between our website and Google Drive is encrypted to prevent unauthorised access to the stored information. Google undertakes to maintain the confidentiality of the stored data in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations. Further information on data processing by Google can be found in Google’s privacy policy.

The backups are stored for a period of 4 months and then automatically deleted, unless longer storage is required to rectify errors or fulfil legal obligations.

You have the right to receive information about the data stored about you, as well as the right to correct, delete or restrict the processing of your data.

Local Google Fonts

Our website uses fonts (‘Google Fonts’) provided by Google. To protect your privacy, we have stored the Google Fonts locally on our server. This means that no connection to Google’s servers is established and no personal data is transmitted to Google.
